The Logitech GROUP Expansion Microphones are designed to enhance the audio reach of the standard GROUP conferencing system, making them ideal for larger meeting rooms with up to 20 people. Each microphone unit measures approximately 3.3 × 3.3 × 0.8 inches (83 × 83 × 21 mm) and weighs around 230 g, ensuring a compact yet stable design that can be placed conveniently on conference tables. With a 4‑foot cable, each mic extends the default voice pickup diameter from about 20 ft to 28 ft, capturing voices clearly even from participants at the far ends of the room.
These mics are plug‑and‑play: simply connect them to the GROUP hub using analog mini‑jacks, and they are automatically detected and configured—no software setup required. Built-in noise-canceling, wideband mono microphones deliver clear audio with reduced ambient interference. A mute button on each mic lets remote participants mute the system easily, with LED indicators signaling muting, active call status, or Bluetooth pairing.
Compatible only with Logitech GROUP units, the package includes two microphones and comes with a 2-year warranty, ensuring reliable performance and peace of mind. These expansion mics are essential for fully leveraging GROUP’s capabilities in medium-to-large rooms, ensuring that all voices are picked up clearly and enhancing the overall meeting experience.
