Description:
The H3C S5560X-54F-EI is part of the S5560X-EI series of intelligent, scalable Gigabit Ethernet switches. Designed to deliver exceptional performance and flexibility, this switch is equipped with 48 SFP ports and 4 additional 10G SFP+ ports, providing high-density fiber connectivity suitable for various enterprise applications.
One of the standout features of the S5560X-54F-EI is its modular design, which includes a single expansion slot. This slot supports a variety of interface modules, such as 2-port 40GE QSFP+, 2-port 10G SFP+, 8-port 10G SFP+, and 2-port 25G SFP28 modules. This modularity allows businesses to customize the switch’s port configuration to meet specific networking requirements, ensuring scalability and adaptability to future network expansions.
The switch boasts a substantial switching capacity of 598 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 252 Mpps, ensuring efficient data processing and minimal latency. Its robust hardware architecture is complemented by H3C’s state-of-the-art Comware 7 operating system, which enhances the switch’s performance and reliability.
For management and maintenance, the S5560X-54F-EI offers both RJ-45 and Micro USB console ports, providing flexibility in administrative access. However, it’s important to note that these console ports cannot operate simultaneously, with the Micro USB port taking priority when both are connected. This design consideration ensures secure and efficient management of the switch.
The switch supports dual modular power supplies, accommodating both AC (100V–240V AC, 50/60Hz) and DC (-48V–-60V DC) inputs. This redundancy in power supply options enhances the switch’s reliability and ensures continuous operation even in the event of a power supply failure. The power consumption is efficient, with a static consumption of 30W (single AC/DC) and a full-load consumption of 130W (single AC) or 132W (single DC), reflecting its energy-efficient design.
In terms of environmental adaptability, the S5560X-54F-EI operates effectively within a temperature range of -5°C to 45°C and a relative humidity of 5% to 95% (non-condensing). This wide operating range makes it suitable for deployment in diverse environmental conditions, from standard office settings to more demanding industrial environments.
The S5560X-54F-EI is equipped with advanced features such as VXLAN (Virtual eXtensible LAN) technology, which facilitates network virtualization and supports the creation of scalable and isolated network segments. It also supports H3C’s Intelligent Resilient Framework 2 (IRF2), enabling the virtualization of multiple switches into a single logical device. This capability simplifies network management and enhances the network’s resilience and flexibility.
