Description
Cisco SFP-OC12-LR2 transceiver modules are SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) transceivers designed for long-reach (LR2) data transmission over single-mode fiber optic cable. They support OC-12 (Optical Carrier-12) or STM-4 (Synchronous Transport Module-4) standard, which translates to a data rate of 622.08 Mbps. These modules use a 1550nm laser for transmission and a PIN photodiode receiver, enabling data transmission over distances of up to 80 kilometers.
