Description
The Cisco CWDM-OADM1-1550 Dual Single Channel OADM Module is a passive optical device designed for multiplexing, demultiplexing, or adding and dropping wavelengths from multiple fibers onto a single optical fiber. This module interfaces seamlessly with color-matching CWDM GBIC and CWDM SFP transceivers, ensuring optimal performance in optical networks.
Operating at the 1550nm wavelength, the dual single-channel OADM features two channels that can travel along different network paths (east and west), providing essential redundancy and protection in ring configurations.
